Esther Akoth popularly known as Akothee has been the happiest mum recently. This is after her eldest daughter Vesha Shaillan graduated from Strathmore with a degree in Bachelor of Commerce(Bcom).

The mother of five could not hide the good news from the public. She went on to declare that she made sure that she gave her child the best education. “The only achievement I have is educating my children and giving them the best. I sold my soul to see my children grow and get the best (I did everything I could to see them succeed),” she wrote on Instagram.

THE BIG PARTY

The businessman and musician organized a lavish party at Villa Rosa Kempinski hotel to celebrate her daughter’s success. Alongside there were some celebrities, friends and family members who were in attendance. It was an all-white party and everyone turned up dressed in pure white. Vesha was dressed in white and a golden gown like a princess. Some of the guests were singer Bahati and TV anchor Lillian Muli. Since Akothee and Bahati have a song together “Nakupa Moyo” they could not fail to perform it at the party. While they were performing the song Vesha, took to stage and started to the song happily.

Surprisingly, when Bahati was performing she held Veshas hand and jokingly said “na ujue niko single”. This left the whole crowd laughing. Most likely he said so because of the rumor that he has broken up with his wife Diana Marua. Besides that Akothee went on to reveal that she used to send Vesha 150 000 upkeep per month when she was on campus. Cumulatively around Ksh 2.2 Million to keep her in school.
Vesha is also the director of Akothee Safaris owned by her mother. She is still young at 23, but she has achieved a lot.
